Georgie Georgie is seven years old. He lives with his mother, Sandrine; his brother, Ellison; his grandmother; and some cousins. They live in an area of Luganville on the island of Santo called BP Burn, which is on the outskirts of town. Many people from the island of Paama have settled here. Sandrine's mother's family is originally from Paama. Georgie's mother works as an office manager at Santo Meatpackers, a local boucherie (butchery). Georgie's dad, Robert, is from the island of Tongoa. He now lives in the main capital of Port Vila, where he works for a telecommunications company. Soon, Georgie, his brother and his mom will move to Vila to be with Georgie's dad. When they move, they will live in a house with their dad's parents (their grandparents), their dad's sister, her husband and child, as well as other family members. Georgie and his brother wear uniforms to go to school, and after school they change into their everyday clothes, usually shorts and a t-shirt.
