Oyanga
Oyanga is seven years old. Her full name is Enkh-Oyanga, but everyone calls her Oyanga. She lives in a house with her grandmother and grandfather in Mongolia.

Oyanga helps out with chores around the house. Her grandparents are both retired. Her grandfather used to be a maintainence and repair man, and he is very good at fixing and building electronic tools and gadgets. Oyanga's grandparents have a greenhouse, and a smaller summer house with three rooms near the big house.

Oyanga's mother was a grade school teacher, and now she is a graduate student in the capital city, Ulaanbaatar. Oyanga might move there soon to be with her mother.

The town Oyanga lives in now is very close to the Russian border--in fact, if Oyanga looks out the window in her school, she can see a Russian town!
